Featured Album: "Shout at the Devil" by Mötley Crüe

Updated: Aug 27, 2021

“Shout at the Devil” is the second studio album from American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe released on September 26, 1983. “Shout at the Devil” was Mötley Crüe’s breakout hit, selling more than 200,000 records in its first two weeks and earning them a supporting spot on KISS’ “Creatures of the Night” tour. The album generated controversy almost immediately as the album’s original artwork featured a Pentagram and singles from the project were targeted by Tipper Gore and featured on PMRC’s infamous “Filthy Fifteen” list. Take a walk on the wild side with tracks like “Looks That Kill,” “Knock ‘Em Dead, Kid,” and The Beatles cover “Helter Skelter” now streaming on Spotify!
