Featured Album: "Destroyer" by KISS

Updated: Aug 27, 2021

“Destroyer,” the fourth studio album released by American glam rock band KISS, was released on March 15, 1976. A departure from the raw, unrefined sound typical of the face paint, space-age rockers, this was also the first KISS album to be certified platinum. While off to a slow start initially, once a station-to-station grassroots movement convinced Southern radio markets to get on board, “Destroyer” went on to become the band’s highest charting and best-selling album to date with the soft-spoken Peter Criss vocal “Beth” peaking at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
